Character Designs
I create characters inspired by the cartoon work I see around me. My character work mainly includes anthropomorphic animals living through different ways of life. Any designs created by me are owned by their respective owners, and are not to be replicated or stolen in any way.
Small reference sheet of a character named “Jamie”. He is a little chef based on a species created by my client.
Colored character page for “Tan”. He is a lynx k-pop star. He is a solo music artist, but loves to collaborate with other artists that share his interests.
Small reference sheet for a monster character named “XO”. He is like a stuffed animal came to life, but a little depressed.
Expressions for Tan. I included a full body drawing of him to show expressive he can be through his performances
Manager character named “Layla”. She manages a young dance prodigy. She is based on a doberman and acts as one. This being, stern when she needs to be, but also sweet.
Different shape ideas for Jamie. I was definitely aiming for a creature that was on the hungrier side and could utilize multiple tools , and I ended up using a Tree Kangaroo because of his pouch and dexterous tail. His “goop” is reminiscent of cake frosting.
